When Lauren called me about her Edmonds wedding, I couldn’t contain my excitement.
Not only was she getting married on our anniversary, but they were having a bar-hopping reception. She talked about a few of the bars they’d be visiting and the intimate backyard wedding they were planning at her parent’s home. We set up a time to meet and tour her parent’s beautiful backyard – and I think you’ll agree it’s gorgeous!
This day was filled with personal moments. Lauren had her senior portraits taken in her parent’s yard, so it has a lot of special meaning for her. The couple has also been together for 11 years, so they’ve made a lot of memories together with their friends, family and loved ones. Lauren’s sister served as maid-of-honor and Eric’s brother-in-law stood up as his best man. There were tears everywhere – during Dad’s first look, ceremony, reception … it was touching and sweet.
Dad surprised Lauren with an impromptu first dance in the middle of his speech, but the girls (Lauren & her sister, Emily) had an even more awesome surprise planned – they had choreographed a musical performance to bring back memories of their family trips together from year’s past.
It was truly a one-of-a-kind wedding experience, and we were honored to be a part of it. We hope you’ll leave them some comment love on their Edmonds wedding below!

Your details shots for this one are so fun! I love the shoes hanging in the tree! I’d never heard of bar hopping for weddings, what an interesting idea! Were they spots they’d had memorable moments at as a couple?

> Marquette LaRee MowerThe bride grew up in the town we bar-hopped in, and it was something their family did a lot of. Definitely one of the funnest receptions ever!
